Contract manager / project manager\nDue to our continued growth and success, and the acquisition of several high-value projects, we are now seeking an experienced contracts manager/project manager with a strong background in commercial flooring.\nThe ideal candidate will:\n * Have extensive knowledge of both soft and hard commercial flooring systems\n * Be a self-starter with strong organisational skills and a passion for excellence\n * Demonstrate the drive, tenacity, and professionalism needed to thrive in a fast-paced environment\nKey responsibilities:\n * Manage all projects from inception to completion\n * Ensure successful planning, coordination, and delivery across all sites\n * Oversee work for a diverse client base, including end users, main contractors and architects.\nDuties of this role include, but are not limited to:\n * Preparing tender and contract documents, including taking off quantities and preparing BOQs\n * Proposing suitable specifications and alternative value engineering specifications\n * Issuing quotations and liaising with the client\n * Knowledge of soft flooring / hard flooring products and specifications\n * Microsoft/IT literate\n * Experience using Estimating Software\n * Estimating\n * Must be able to manage multiple Tenders and work in a fast paced environment\n * Full UK Driving Licence\n * Split working week between office and site to maintain consistent presence and collaboration across both locations.\n * Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience and suitability.\n * Holidays, 22 days plus bank holidays & Christmas shutdown.\n * Contribution pension scheme, fully expensed company car or car allowance\n * Hours of work, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 8am to 12pm\nThe company\na well-established, family-run commercial flooring business with over 35 years of experience in the industry.
