Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Specialist Doctor (full‑time) based at North Tyneside General Hospital to support the delivery of our trust‑wide service.
Plastic Surgery is a high‑throughput department with three full‑time and one part‑time consultant. We are looking to appoint another Specialist Grade Doctor to provide services for skin cancer management, immediate and delayed breast reconstruction, hand surgery, limb reconstruction, and plastic surgery support to general surgeons for perineal wound reconstruction and complex abdominal wall reconstruction.
We have plans to expand further by adding a MOH service, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and establishing lymphedema services. We seek an experienced, enthusiastic individual to support all such activities, especially skin cancer management and reconstruction.
