The Role As a Service Volunteer Co-ordinator, you will design and deliver a long-term integrated volunteer service strategy for our client’s services across the UK. Delivering their new volunteer engagement strategy, you’ll develop a central hub of volunteer policies, procedures and systems, proactively ensuring that volunteers are recruited, trained and supported to enable our client’s work across the UK and make an impact. You’ll shape the volunteer journey from recruitment and induction through to reward and recognition, celebrating their success and inspiring them to help create the best possible outcomes for people working in horticulture and their families. Additionally, you will: - Lead on all aspects of the day-to-day administration - Develop and implement volunteer service work with key partner agencies - Report performance against plans, budgets and strategic objectives - Develop effective partnerships, networks and joint working arrangements - Ensure compliance with safeguarding legislation, policies and procedures About You To be considered as a Service Volunteer Co-ordinator, you will need: - Experience of volunteer management and recruitment - Project management experience - Experience of leading volunteer-led service development - Experience of developing volunteer strategies, policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across dispersed teams - Experience of undertaking research, including service user engagement work, to support strategic development - Experience of using research information and reliable data - A successful track record of developing effective partnerships and co-production of programmes at scale - In-depth knowledge of safeguarding practice and procedures - Excellent interpersonal skills The closing date for applications is the 18th May 2024.
