Im currently working with a leading multi-national packaging manufacturing business that has an excellent opportunity for aMaintenance Engineerto join their team in Bedford.

The Role:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and attend to production breakdowns.
* Perform inspections and work in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
* Work closely with colleagues and other departments to improve processes and efficiencies.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality.
* Manage your daily workload and priorities effectively.
* Liaise with suppliers for sourcing parts and equipment at competitive prices.
The Ideal Candidate:
* An experienced Engineer, ideally time-served or apprentice-trained.
* Competent in electrical work and comfortable in a multi-skilled engineering role.
* Background in FMCG manufacturing is advantageous.
* Computer literate and able to use modern maintenance systems.
* Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
* A flexible team player who can also work independently.
* Strong awareness of health & safety and experience conducting risk assessments.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
