Sunday- Thursday / 6pm-3am or 8pm-5am
Are you an experienced Warehouse operative?
Regional Recruitment are recruiting for warehouse operator, on behalf of a industry-leading distributor/manufacturer/logistics company with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. Qualifications
Essential:
· Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential
· Ability to carry out manual handling and physically demanding tasks
· Good attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
· Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic
· Ability to always follow health and safety procedures
· Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required
· Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and completing paperwork
Desirable:
· Forklift licence (FLT) is an advantage but not required as training may be provided
Roles & Responsibilities
· Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate manual handling techniques
· Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and reporting any damages or discrepancies
· Sorting, organising, and storing stock in the correct warehouse locations
· Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, pump trucks, and (where trained) forklifts
· Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling, wrapping, and securing pallets
· Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
· Assisting with regular stock takes and inventory checks
· Following health and safety procedures and complying with warehouse regulations
· Meeting daily productivity targets and working effectively as part of a team
· Supporting general warehouse duties as required by supervisors or management
