SR. FinOps Analyst - AR, Global Account Receivables
GAR (Global Accts Rec) is seeking a proactive, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Collections Analyst. The primary responsibility will be to manage and resolve receivables-related queries received from Amazon customers. As a Collections Analyst, you will support customers in resolving billing issues, reconciling accounts, and achieving monthly collection targets. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, quick to learn, demonstrates strong ownership, and can earn trust with customers to facilitate timely payments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understanding of Accounts Receivables process
2. Follow-up with customers via emails and phone calls to ensure timely collection of payments for assigned portfolio
3. Maintain detailed records of correspondence on accounts receivable to ensure aging is current, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are resolved
4. Collaborate with stakeholders (Billing, Finance, Legal, Tax, Customer Service) to resolve disputes and queries, and to maintain good client relationships both internally and externally
5. Monitor high-risk accounts and escalate challenges promptly to management
6. Continuously seek ways to enhance the customer experience
7. Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for improvement
8. Achieve monthly productivity goals
9. Reconcile complex accounts with excellent attention to detail
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com)
* Advanced knowledge of Excel
* Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in finance operations, shared services, accounts payable, accounts receivable (collections), or general ledger
