Your attention to detail and flexibility in managing both fitting and occasional electrical duties directly contributes to customer satisfaction and operational success.
Main Responsibilities Include
* Fit out, refurbish, and repair welfare accommodation units to meet detailed drawings and customer requirements.
* Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs on units, including occasional electrical work such as installing and testing electrical components.
* Diagnose faults and respond promptly to breakdowns both on-site and at the depot.
* Prepare units for hire, including cleaning, painting, and quality checks to ensure safety and functionality.
* Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting welfare units as needed.
* Maintain accurate job documentation, including job sheets, inspection records, and repair logs.
* Monitor stock levels and prepare materials required for ongoing maintenance and installation work.
* Adhere strictly to Health & Safety guidelines and company procedures.
* Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with supervisors and customers.
What Will Make You a Great Fit
* Proven experience working with welfare accommodation units, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
* Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for welfare unit fitting.
* Electrical competence is advantageous; relevant electrical qualifications will be a strong benefit.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Ability to work efficiently within set timeframes while maintaining safety and quality standards.
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
* A valid CSCS card is desirable but not essential
