About the role
Northamptonshire's new Childrens Trust is focused on creating the Quality Assurance Service we want for our future. Our vision is to develop a strong, sustainable, challenging, and supportive service that will improve standards of practice and fully implement Signs of Safety as our practice model.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Social Worker to join Northamptonshire Childrens Trust as a Designated Officer. You will ensure that safeguarding allegations against those who work with children and young people are managed effectively and thoroughly considered.

What will you be doing?
Working within a multi-agency context, you will leverage your extensive experience in children's social work and safeguarding to provide advice, guidance, support, and challenge to organizations working with children when an employee or volunteer faces an allegation. Your efforts will help ensure children, young people, and families in Northamptonshire are protected.

About Us
Northamptonshire Childrens Trust was established in November 2020 to deliver Children's Services for the newly formed North and West Northants County Councils. The Trust is wholly owned and funded but operates independently from the Councils, allowing us to explore innovative ways of working and adapt quickly in service delivery. We are fostering a culture that promotes high-quality professional practice and innovation.
