Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Administrator Modern Apprentice based at Ailsa Hospital. Please note this is a fixed-term vacancy for 12 months. As this is a Modern Apprenticeship, applications are open to candidates aged 16 to 24.
What You Will Do
* Supporting day-to-day office operations with a variety of administrative tasks
* Managing incoming mail and helping to organize diaries and meetings
* Assisting with event planning – booking venues, promoting events, and preparing delegate packs
* Helping to record annual leave and process orders alongside the Office Administrator
* Working with the Digital Officer on social media campaigns and digital resources
* Supporting training activities by booking delegates and maintaining records
* Carrying out general admin duties such as typing, filing and photocopying
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn and ready to take the first step in their career. To be successful in this role, you should:
* Be educated to SCQF Level 4, with a qualification in English
* Have a positive attitude and a genuine interest in developing new skills
* Be a good communicator with strong organisational and time management abilities
* Pay close attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team
* Be confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
* No prior experience is necessary – just a willingness to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
You will receive full training and support throughout your apprenticeship, with opportunities to grow and develop your skills in a professional setting.
