Simpson Judge are exclusively supporting an ambitious Leeds-based SME business, in their search for an Executive Assistant to support their Founder & MD and Finance Director.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious EA to further grow and develop in a multi-faceted and progressive role.
In this role you will:
* Provide comprehensive executive support, managing both professional and selective personal assistance (booking personal appointments, assisting with personal projects, hobbies and errands)
* Manage complex calendars, schedule and coordinate meetings
* Handle logistics (book tickets, hotels etc.) and international travel itineraries
* Assist with expense tracking and accounts payable
* Maintain and organise documents, presentations, and correspondence for easy access and retrieval
* Assist with recruitment and interview coordination
* Oversee new employee onboarding, including induction planning, training coordination, and system access setup
* Manage day-to-day HR operations (holiday requests, absence tracking, employee records, policy compliance)
* Maintain office welfare and organise events and socials
* Take care of day-to-day office operations, including managing supplies, equipment and facilities
In order to be successful you need to be:
* Highly personable, with strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills
* An excellent verbal and written communicator
* Strong organisation, time management abilities, with excellent attention to detail
* Enthusiastic, open-minded and very willing to learn
* Tech savvy – highly proficient in working with technology (laptops, phones, etc.), Microsoft software (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and Gen AI (e.g., ChatGPT)
* Self-motivated and proactive in anticipating needs
* Committed to going above and beyond expectations
* Able to work independently under remote management
A high level of education would also be advantageous, as would an interest or previous experience in the chemicals industry.
Alongside a base salary of circa. £35,000 p.a., my client also offers performance related bonuses and health insurance, in addition to all mandated standard benefits.
