We're looking for friendly and reliable Nursery Assistants to support nurseries across Somerset, particularly in Taunton and Frome. This is a great opportunity for people who genuinely enjoy working with young children and are happy to get involved wherever needed. Regular work is available, with the potential for longer-term or permanent opportunities.
The role includes:
- Supporting children during play, learning, and daily routines
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment
- Assisting with snack and mealtimes, as well as general tidying
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys spending time with young children and babies
- Is caring, patient, and proactive
- Is happy to help out across the setting as needed
- No formal qualifications are required - what matters most is a positive attitude and a genuine interest in early years care
- Driving license and access to a car is preferred but not essential
Essential requirements:

Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
