ROLE
We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Consultant / Account Manager to grow our clients business by identifying, engaging and closing new client opportunities, while also nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients.
This role sits within their sales function and focuses on achieving revenue targets, expanding market presence and delivering excellent customer engagement across the full sales lifecycle.
The successful candidate will combine strong business development skills with strategic account management experience to support our growth plans in competitive markets. Be able to travel is required.
RESPONSABILITES
Proactively identify, research and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors
Qualify prospects, lead sales meetings, conduct presentations and negotiate terms to close deals.
Use CRM tools to track leads, sales activities, opportunities and forecasts
Collaborate with internal teams to tailor commercial proposals and pricing that meet client needs
Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of existing clients, building strong, trusted relationships to drive client retention and growth
Maintain regular client reviews, conduct performance check-ins and manage account plans to maximise revenue potential
Ensure exceptional service delivery by coordinating with operations, customer support and product teams to resolve issues
Develop and execute account strategies
Prepare sales reports, revenue forecasts and market insights for senior management
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and client feedback to influence product/service positioning
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Proven track record in B2B sales, business development or strategic account management (minimum 2 years)
Strong commercial acumen and ability to sell value based solutions to a variety of stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident presenter
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels of an organisation
Target driven with a strong history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Proficient with CRM systems
DESIRABLE
Experience in industrial, technical or capital equipment markets (advantageous but not required)
Knowledge of consultative selling techniques
Experience preparing proposals, quotations and commercial contracts
