Job Description:
We are seeking a Project Operations Lead (Construction) to oversee and lead a team within a reputable construction group. The role offers a salary of £60,000 - £70,000, along with comprehensive benefits, progression opportunities, and training. The position is based in Swadlincote (Burton-on-Trent).
This leadership role involves managing a Project Engineering team across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of delivery and client satisfaction. You will be responsible for tactical decision-making, team coaching, and stepping into projects for strategic oversight when needed. The role is primarily office-based with potential site visits and offers long-term career progression into senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team of Project Engineers across various locations
* Act as a senior escalation point for project or client issues
* Organize and facilitate team meetings and management sessions
* Support and coach Project Engineers to develop skills and meet deadlines
* Monitor team performance, project delivery, and client satisfaction
* Conduct site visits for relationship building and oversight
* Balance commercial protections, reputation, and client needs
