A civil engineering contractor working across the water and infrastructure sector is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the permanent appointment of an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Lead.
This role would suit a commercially astute individual who is comfortable taking ownership of multiple civils and water schemes, supporting delivery teams while maintaining firm control over cost, risk, and contractual position.
YOUR NEW ROLE
* Managing commercial performance across civils and water projects
* Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
* Administration of contracts, variations, and final accounts
* Supporting site teams with commercial and contractual advice
* Identifying and mitigating commercial risk
* Working closely with senior management on strategy and performance
ABOUT YOU
* Proven experience in a commercial role within civils and/or water
* Strong working knowledge of construction contracts
* Confident managing budgets and protecting margin
* Civil engineering or construction-related qualification
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
