About the Company
With a turnover exceeding £40 million, we are a well-established and growing drylining fit-out and refurbishment contractor, delivering high-quality projects across the UK. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support the successful delivery of multiple projects.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with 15 years experience in drylining to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will work closely with senior team members while gaining exposure to the full commercial lifecycle of projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the management and coordination of a team of Surveyors
* Assist with monthly cost reporting and profit reviews to track project performance
* Prepare and contribute to monthly valuations (client-side and supply chain)
* Assist in the preparation of pre-tender profit plans and cashflow forecasts
* Price drylining packages and support procurement of subcontractors
* Help manage subcontractor packages in line with contract terms and conditions
* Assist in the agreement of final accounts (upstream and downstream)
* Support the preparation of main contract documentation, collateral warranties, and consultant appointments
* Ensure projects remain aligned with cost plans and maintain close liaison with client-side Quantity Surveyors
* Contribute to value engineering initiatives
* Support final account settlement and client aftercare
Requirements
* 15 years experience working for a drylining contractor (essential)
* Strong commercial xxuwjjq awareness and understanding of construction contracts
* Good numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within deadlines
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Must be able to travel to Hertfordshire
* Available immediately or within a one-month notice period
