Key Responsibilities: Check shipping documents (Invoices, Packing Lists) to ensure accuracy and compliance with physical cargo. Organize collections, bookings, AWB issuance, and customs declarations. Liaise with airlines to negotiate competitive rates and secure space. Monitor flight departures and arrivals to ensure timely connections; keep clients informed throughout. Pre-alert overseas agents/importers and manage clearance processes. Enter shipment data into the company TMS, ensuring accuracy and quality. Manage financial completeness of files, including accurate invoicing and accruals. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain close communication with clients. Support efforts to secure new customers and develop business opportunities for the Airfreight department. Assist in preparing quotations and tender responses in line with company standards. Assist in researching and identifying key prospects in local, domestic, and international markets. Help maintain a pipeline of prospective business and track activity targets. Skills, knowledge and expertise: Strong knowledge of airfreight operations and documentation. Commercial awareness with willingness to learn negotiation and sales techniques. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Ability to work independently and proactively in operational tasks while developing commercial skills. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Flexibility to travel with willingness to meet clients face-to-face. Previous experience in airfreight coordination and freight forwarding.
