Transport Technology Engineer (ANPR) Field Based - Cambridgeshire £35,000 to £40,000 per year ( Vehicle Overtime) Plus excellent company benefits and incentives The Opportunity: Due to increased workload our client is looking for a Transport Technology Maintenance Engineer to cover the installation and maintenance (servicing, repairing and replacing) of their camera systems in the Cambridgeshire region. This will involve conducting maintenance and repair on a variety of roadside electronic equipment within your patch (CCTV, ANPR, Sensors, etc.), with the majority of this work being conducted on the side of motorways and at heights. Ideally you will come from a background dealing with roadside technology, either in urban areas or on the UK motorway network. Skills and Experience: A background in installation and maintenance of traffic signals or ANPR cameras Qualified to ONC/HNC or BTEC in Electronic Engineering or hold a 17th/18th Edition qualification (BS7671) Prior roadside experience and current tickets (G39, HERS8, NRSWA, NHSS8) is highly desirable Full UK drivers’ licence Role and Responsibilities: Fault response and repair of roadside equipment Carry out routine maintenance visits on all equipment in line with provided schedule Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce fault rates Coordinate with the lead engineers to arrange maintenance and inspection schedules Undertake night working when required Applications: For further information on this role and some of the opportunities we have working as a Technology Engineer for a leading transport technology company based in Cambridgeshire; please send your CV ASAP to James Sample ( james@isr.uk.com ) or please call me on 07436 071 269 to discuss the opportunities in more detail.
