Are you organised, accurate, and looking to grow your career in financial administration, purchasing, and stock management? Our client, based in Basildon, Essex are recruiting for a Financial Operations Administrator to support their finance, stock, and operational processes across the business. Working full time Monday to Friday, office based

Role and Responsibilities:

* Process customer invoices, credit notes, statements, renewals, and recurring billing cycles while maintaining correct VAT records.

* Manage purchase invoices, supplier payments, PO matching, and bank reconciliations using Sage 50 Accounts.

* Prepare and process payroll and payments, ensuring accurate hours, overtime, and supporting data.

* Process quarterly VAT returns

* Raise purchase orders, obtain quotes, track supplier deliveries, and resolve discrepancies or delays.

* Maintain accurate stock records, stock movements, and inventory levels across Sage and internal systems.

* Process stock in/out, customer orders, and prepare customer quotes.

* Handle RMA/returns processes and ensure all documentation is filed correctly.

* Produce financial and stock reports, ensuring adherence to company procedures and compliance standards.

* Provide administrative support to the Operations and Support teams where required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in accounts, procurement, stock control, or financial administration.
• Strong proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
