We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us at Chadwell Heath Vets for Pets practice; the perfect steppingstone if you’re looking for progression in your career.
Position details:
1. This role is working 40 hours per week flexible shifts
2. Weekends are on a 1:3 rota basis.
3. Salary up to £40,000 DOE, FTE.
Our well-established practice sees a wide range of clinics and a variety of surgical procedures, so this is the perfect opportunity if you’re wanting to broaden your nursing experience; using your nursing skills to their full potential. You’ll be joining our welcoming and inclusive team who are keen for all colleagues to have a voice and share ideas to have a real impact on the success of our practice and drive the business forward.
Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Based on the High Road in Chadwell Heath, we’re surrounded by great amenities, and easily commutable.

4. You must be an experienced and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse.
5. Supportive and great communicator.
6. Highly organised and passionate about clinical standards.
7. Clinical coach, or willingness to be one.
8. Lead by example; supporting and guiding all members of the nursing team.
9. You are able to provide guidance by keeping yourself fully up-to-speed with the practice services and any additional services available.
10. You are calm, attentive, and always focus on the clients’ and patients’ needs.
11. You will bring enthusiasm and drive to your role. Your passion for service is matched with your love of pets.
12. You can deal with everything that is thrown at you, from comforting a client who has had some bad news about their pet or sharing in the joy of a new puppy’s first visit to the vet.
13. Your personality is infectious and along with your fellow colleagues, you create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the practice.
