Tool Room Supervisor Sector: Manufacturing Location: Suffolk Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Circa £40,600 per annum Shifts: Monday to Friday - Days ISQ Recruitment is supporting a leading manufacturer in the plastic packaging industry with their search for a Tool Room Supervisor. You would be joining a skilled team and an innovative business with a strong focus on quality and sustainability. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining and developing a high-performing tooling department within a dynamic production environment. This role is a Monday to Friday days position. The successful candidate must have a full UK driving license with access to their own vehicle. * Please note this client does not offer VISA sponsorship, only candidates with full Right to Work in the UK and relevant experience to this role will be considered. Role Duties Support toolroom operations and provide regular updates to management. Assist in the production and development of tooling and machining techniques. Collaborate with other departments to offer technical support and solutions. Provide a stable and supportive environment for toolmakers and apprentices. Ensure team compliance with health & safety standards and current best practices. Provide training and mentorship for new staff and apprentices. Contribute to continuous improvement through reporting and innovation initiatives. Proven ability to supervise and support team members, with strong technical skills, clear communication, and a collaborative approach. Capable of managing workload independently, meeting deadlines, and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment. Confident in identifying and resolving issues proactively, with a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset. Dependable and professional, demonstrating integrity and accountability in all tasks. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Flexible and open to change, with a continuous improvement mindset.
