About the Role / Role Overview: As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure a positive and respectful learning environment. Job Responsibilities: Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher. Deliver lessons and maintain order in accordance with school policies. Ensure pupils remain engaged with their work and provide guidance where necessary. Manage behaviour in line with the school's expectations and procedures. Collect and return completed work to the appropriate teacher. Maintain a calm, inclusive, and productive classroom atmosphere. Job Requirements: Minimum of a Level 3 qualification or a degree (education-related desirable). Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting is advantageous. Strong communication and classroom management skills. A calm and confident demeanour with the ability to use initiative. A genuine passion for working with young learners and supporting their development.
