We’re working with supportive primary schools across Leeds and Wakefield looking for confident and experienced Year 6 Teachers to join their teams permanently. These schools understand the realities of Upper KS2, value staff wellbeing, and know that SATs season runs a lot smoother when teachers feel supported properly.
Your role:
* Teaching and preparing a Year 6 class for SATs and transition
* Creating engaging and focused lessons
* Supporting pupils academically and emotionally during their final primary year
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and leadership teams
* Building confidence and independence in pupils before secondary school
Schools are looking for teachers who:
* Hold UK QTS
* Have strong KS2 curriculum knowledge
* Feel confident leading a classroom independently
* Bring positive behaviour management and communication skills
* Can balance challenge, support, and a sense of humour during busy terms

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
