About the Learning Manager (Early Years and Care) Role

As our Learning Manager (Early Years and Care), you will:
* Lead and support a high-performing team
* Drive outstanding teaching, learning and assessment
* Develop and deliver a relevant, employer-focused curriculum
* Build strong relationships with employers, partners and cross-college teams
* Lead quality processes including verification, reviews and improvement plans
* Support key events such as open evenings, enrolment and parent sessions
* Contribute to the Duty Manager rota and wider management responsibilities

As our Learning Manager (Early Years and Care), you'll ideally have:
* Degree-level qualification in a related subject
* Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths, grade A-C or 9-4
* Level 5 teaching qualification or higher (e.g., Diploma in Education and Training, PGCE)
* Experience in teaching Early Years, Care, Health or related subjects to students aged 16+ to adults
* Proven experience in curriculum development, strategic planning, quality improvement, and assessment design
* Work experience across curriculum teams or disciplines
* In-depth understanding of Early Years and Care related provision, including curriculum design, assessment and progression pathways
* Awareness of a range of teaching methods, factors affecting learner engagement
* Broad knowledge of national education policy in the post-16, adult and apprenticeship sectors
