Job Title: Patient Flow Coordinator
Join our Emergency Department team as a Patient Flow Coordinator. This role involves working closely with Medical, Nursing, and Site Management teams to coordinate activities within the department, which handles approximately 105,000 attendances annually.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate patient flow and ensure accurate recording of patient details.
* Provide excellent customer care and handle confidential information appropriately.
* Support safe patient care through proper documentation.
* Work collaboratively within a busy and dynamic environment.
Requirements:
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle distressed individuals.
* Flexible approach to work hours.
* Experience dealing with the public preferred.
Working Hours:
Average of 15 hours per week over a 3-week rolling rota:
* Week 1: Fri 17:00-23:00, Sat 15:30-23:00, Sun 10:00-16:00
* Week 2: Mon 17:00-23:00, Wed 17:00-23:00
* Week 3: Tues 17:00-23:00, Thurs 17:00-23:00, Sat 09:30-15:30, Sun 15:30-23:00
