Teaching Assistant Location: NP19 Contract Type: Full Time / Part Time Pay: Weekly pay Start: ASAP Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in the NP19 area. This role is suited to someone who is proactive, reliable and confident supporting pupils in a busy classroom environment. You will be supporting learning across the school day, working with whole classes, small groups and on a 1:1 basis, including pupils who may require additional support (ALN/SEN). The Role Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 Provide 1:1 and small group support where required Assist pupils with engagement, focus and behaviour Work closely with the class teacher to support learning activities Help maintain a positive, structured classroom environment Support pupils with additional learning needs when needed The Ideal Candidate A proactive individual with a strong “get up and go” attitude Confident working with children in a school setting Able to use initiative and adapt to different classroom needs Patient, calm and engaging with pupils Experience working with children (school, nursery, care, youth work or similar) is desirable but not essential Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What We Offer Weekly pay Access to free CPD, including safeguarding and SEN training Ongoing support from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant Opportunities for long-term placements and career progression This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in education or continue their career as a Teaching Assistant in a supportive school environment.
