The Job You’ll Be Doing
* Prepare and manage export documentation, liaise with couriers and freight companies.
* Handle logistics coordination for international shipments.
* Answer telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries professionally and courteously.
* Support general office operations to ensure smooth daily functions.
* Process and reconcile sales invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
* Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Monitor and manage stock-related transactions related to accounts.
About You
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
* A versatile, proactive attitude with the ability to learn new systems and procedures.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident in handling both phone and email correspondence.
* Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
* Familiarity with Sage 50 accounting software.
* Proficiency in Excel and other office tools.
* High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in logistics, exports, or similar administrative functions.
* Strong working knowledge of UK VAT and tax procedures.
