Job Description:

* Permanent, office-based role
About Our Client
* Administrative Officer
* Not-for-profit organisation
* Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4pm
* Based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, office-based
* Occasional evening & weekend work may be required
* Occasional travel within the Midlands or London Head Office may be required - expenses paid
Job Responsibilities
* Support communication efforts, including website and newsletters
* Assist lead volunteers with event preparation and administration
* Respond to inquiries, research venues, manage bookings, chase payments, and reconcile finances
* Arrange and support meetings, including minute-taking
* Perform office administration tasks such as answering phones, managing post, and filing
The Successful Applicant
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
* Ability to build effective working relationships with volunteers and staff
* Strong verbal communication skills for dealing with inquiries
* Excellent written communication skills for emails, letters, minutes, and reports
* Ability to manage budgets and perform financial reconciliations
* Ability to work effectively with external partners and organizations
* Knowledge of volunteering procedures is desirable
