We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen, you will work closely with our current chef to deliver high-quality dishes and ensure smooth kitchen operations. From assisting with menu development to executing daily specials and coordinating events, you will play a vital role in delighting our guests with memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Support in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
-Be able to work independently if needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menu ideas and seasonal specials.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of themed events and promotions, such as tapas nights, St. Patrick's celebrations, and barbecues.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and creativity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sous chef or senior line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Creativity and innovation in menu development and presentation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. We offer a
4 day rotational week .
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
