We are seeking a Deputy Manager to work alongside our Registered Manager, supporting both our team and the residents in Crewkerne. Our team is proud to deliver specialist adult services that empower and support people with autism, always striving to create the best possible outcomes for the incredible individuals in our care. A day in the life of a Deputy Manager would include: * Providing support, guidance and mentoring to staff within the service whether that be with supervisions, 1-2-1 or weekly team briefings * Onboarding new starters to ensure they understand the role and are equipped to deliver high quality support * Ensuring we have efficient rotas in place to suit the needs of the people we support * Maintaining care and support plans are consistent and up to date * Ensuring the service operates to budget * Setting objectives which are clear, aspirational and achievable for our colleagues and people we support * Provide on call support to colleagues on a rota basis * Ensuring the home is maintained and liaising with our health and safety and maintenance teams where appropriate What makes us proud to be apart of AU!
