About the Role
Join the UK’s largest building compliance team as a Level 1 Air Tightness Tester, focusing on domestic dwelling projects in London and nearby regions. Play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations 2021, contributing to energy-efficient, sustainable buildings. This position offers growth opportunities, including progression to Level 2 certification, as well as skills development in thermal imaging, sound testing, and consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
4. Conduct air tightness tests on domestic dwellings per regulatory standards.
5. Perform site inspections and identify potential air leakage issues.
6. Review architectural drawings and offer design recommendations.
7. Provide consultancy to enhance air tightness and reduce construction risks.
8. Prepare detailed test reports and recommend remedial actions.
9. Collaborate with clients and teams to meet air tightness targets efficiently.
Qualifications
10. Level 1 Air Tightness Tester certification (or equivalent).
11. Knowledge of Part L of the Building Regulations 2021.
12. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
13. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
14. Valid UK driving licence (travel across London and nearby areas required).
