Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Yolk Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a growing manufacturer that has signed a long-term contract to supply to the UK's biggest names. With significant investment planned for 2024 and future investments in 2025/2026, they are now looking to recruit additional Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join their team on a 3-shift pattern.

This is what you’ll be doing
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, working on a 3-shift pattern and reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing electrical and mechanical support and knowledge across all lines within the plant.
2. Testing equipment, fault finding, and repairs.
3. Fault finding and repair of PLCs using Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
4. Ensuring maximum machine availability at minimum cost through effective planned preventative maintenance.
5. Collaborating with other plant engineers and team leaders to focus on achieving machine maintenance hours on planned work.
6. Maintaining compliance and working safely in accordance with H&S standards.
7. Implementing a Total Quality Approach across the site.
The experience you’ll bring to the team
* Time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualification in engineering.
* At least 4 years of experience in a multiskilled maintenance role, ideally within an FMCG environment.
