Night Transport Planning Supervisor

We are now looking for a motivated and experienced Route Planner, Supervisor to join our Midlands depot team and lead our night operations.
About the Role:
You'll oversee coordinating our fantastic team of drivers and planning transport routes, you will take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of our night transport operation. You will oversee around 4 trunking drivers, ensuring all trunks depart and arrive on time and in full. You will be liaising on each shift with our other depots regarding their trunk trailers and drivers, you will be route planning around 16 vehicles per evening with routes in the local DE and WS postcode areas, between Vans, Rigids, and Artics.

About you:
We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can work independently and collaboratively. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be the key decision-maker throughout the night shift, ensuring compliance, safety, and high service levels.
Local knowledge for delivery area surrounding Lichfield is a must and coming from an operational transport background would be advantageous.
