IT Hardware Manager – (IT, Hardware, Windows 10, 11, Build, Asset Management, Hands on, PC’s, Laptops, ITAM, KPI’s) – Permanent – Stockport

Charles Simon Associates is currently seeking an IT Hardware Manager for an outstanding existing client based in the Stockport area.

Location: Stockport

Salary: Up to £45,000 Per Annum D.O.E

What we’re looking for:

* Proven experience managing IT hardware across large estates

* Strong hands-on skills with Windows 10/11 builds and patching

* Creation of end-to-end Asset Management processes

* Leadership and/or team management experience

* Creation of SLA’s and KPI’s for team members

* Writing new documentation for assets from start to finish

* Excellent troubleshooting

* Strong 3rd-party vendor management experience

* Stakeholder Management

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing the imaging, distribution, and return of laptops, desktops, tablets and other devices

* Leading and mentoring Hardware Engineers

* Overseeing IT Asset Management for 8000+ devices across Windows, iOS, and Android

* Liaising with vendors, including HP, Apple, and SoftCa,t for hardware procurement and support

* Owning and improving hardware processes, including WEEE disposal and monthly reporting

* Maintaining and enhancing the IT Asset Management platform

* Troubleshooting hardware/software imaging issues and maintaining a knowledge base

* Leading the end-to-end Windows patching process across the estate

* Creating and managing KPIs and SLAs for hardware operations
