SEN Teacher – Secondary Schools Location: Southampton and surrounding areas Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (dependent on experience, in line with MPS/UPS) Contract: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available About the Role Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers to work within Secondary Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across the Southampton area. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support students with a range of additional needs, delivering tailored education and helping them achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to students with SEN Adapt the curriculum to meet individual learning needs and abilities Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals Monitor, record, and report on student progress and development Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural needs Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with students with SEN (desirable but not essential) Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies Excellent communication and classroom management skills A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach Compliance Requirements Applicants must have a Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one What We Offer Competitive salary in line with MPS/UPS (£32,916 – £51,048 per annum) Flexible working options (full-time or part-time) Ongoing support and guidance from a dedicated consultant Opportunities for continued professional development and training If you’re an enthusiastic teacher looking to make a real difference in SEN education, we’d love to hear from you.
