Job Description
3. Managing a portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
4. Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102/FRS 105.
5. Preparing management accounts where required.
6. Reviewing bookkeeping work and assisting junior team members with technical queries.
7. Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for clients and responding to queries in a timely manner.
8. Reviewing VAT returns and supporting corporation tax compliance processes.
9. Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
10. Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge and ensuring compliance with current accounting standards.
The Successful Applicant
11. ACA / ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience).
12. Proven experience within an accountancy practice environment.
13. Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
14. Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards.
15. Experience reviewing accounts preparation work.
