About The Role
We are seeking dedicated andpassionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a specialist setting supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temp-to-perm position, starting in September 2026, with the chance to be a permanent member of a supportive and rewarding educational environment.
As part of the recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a recruitment day at the start of July 2026, which will include an interview and classroom-based activities to give you a feel for the role and environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs
2. Assist teaching staff in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
3. Support students withmunication, behaviour and personal development
4. Encourage independence, confidence and life skills
5. Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate
6. Experience supporting individuals with SEN ( ASD, SEMH, PMLD, MLD)
7. Passionate about making a difference in education
8. Patient, empathetic and resilient
9. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
10. Willingness to learn and develop
