As part of our partnership with Openreach, which operates the UK’s largest fibre broadband network, we are committed to delivering quarterly target homes passed (THP) in numerous areas. The Planner plays a vital role in this process by allocating, scheduling, and issuing jobs to suppliers, closely monitoring progress to ensure works are completed within agreed timescales, and enabling the wider team to effectively plan and deliver on project targets. The Planner is essential in helping MJ Quinn expand broadband access to thousands of homes each year.

Responsibilities
* Accept jobs and allocate them to the necessary suppliers, scheduling works to be completed.
* Liaise with the client regarding queries surrounding jobs.
* Keep delivery forecast trackers and documents up to date daily.
* Coordinate with other departments within MJ Quinn to discuss additional requirements such as traffic management, commercial and streetworks teams.
* Assist with the closing down of jobs once works have been completed.
Experience and Skills
* Computer literate – experience with Microsoft Office tools.
* Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong administration and organisation skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and manage business expectations.
* Strong orientation towards quality, safety and continuous improvement.
* Adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
