This Mechanical Workshop Engineer role offers development, stability and reward.
As the Engineer you will support with Servicing & Spares, Refurbishments, Modifications and all general repairs.

This Mechanical Workshop Engineer role will include the below responsibilities:
Performing repairs, overhauls, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of mechanical equipment, including engines, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
Identifying and diagnosing faults in mechanical systems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
Working with components, disassembling them for inspection, and assembling them back together after repairs or modifications
Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard of quality and meets the required specification
Creating detailed reports, test sheets, and other documentation related to the work performed
Supporting the team working on group workloads and reporting to senior management
The ideal candidate for our clients Mechanical Workshop Engineer will hold:
Previous HGV Mechanical work would be advantageous
Previous engineering and maintenance exposure is essential
Confidently can diagnose, repair and complete mechanical based tasks
Ability to use hand tools (drills, grinders, sockets, and riveting)
Ability to read engineering based drawings
Pneumatics and Hydraulics exposure would be advantageous
Full UK Driving License and own vehicle due to remote location
