We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our incredible Residential Service, in New Mills, High Peak
Position: Adults Support Worker
Pay Rate: £12.31 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 42 Hrs
Shifts: Days & Nights
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Support Worker, you'll play a key role in helping adults with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs to live their best lives through person-centred support.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing emotional and practical support that empowers people to achieve their personal goals.
* Supporting individuals to access their community, take part in local activities, and build social connections.
* Assisting with daily living tasks, such as medication, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining accurate records.
* Encouraging independence by helping people develop new skills and pursue hobbies or interests.
* Building trusting relationships to improve wellbeing and quality of life.
About You:
We're looking for someone who brings positivity, patience, and genuine care to their work. You'll also have:
* Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, mental health conditions, complex needs, and challenging behaviours.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent time management, attention to detail, and flexibility.
* IT literacy and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
* Above all, a compassionate heart and a passion for making a real difference
