Our Story:
The Bridge Easton School is a complex needs school which opened in Easton, Norfolk in January 2023. The school is on a growth plan and continues to grow until September 2025 to provide for 180 children and young people with cognition and learning difficulties, and autism. As a school, we work with children, their families and other professionals within education, health, and care to support our children and young people to have a successful journey through their education. In addition to the main school, we offer our Base provision where classes offer a bespoke education to children and young people with high complex needs and autism who require a smaller class environment and often a 1-2-1 staff ratio. Visit our website for more information.
We are recruiting for:
* Lead Special Needs Professionals – To support the class teacher in the delivery of the curriculum and preparation of resources. To work with pupils, meeting their needs, helping develop their emotional, social and academic skills. To support colleagues and work as a team. To lead the class in the teacher’s absence. We currently have a few LSNP vacancies within The Base, EYFS and primary.
* Two primary LSNP vacancies are for a September start when the two new classes open.
* Two LSNP vacancies are required ASAP for primary and the Base. Please note, we require an LSNP to work in Bay Class which is a key stage 1 cohort who are working at pre EYFS level. We are seeking an experienced LSNP with a strong knowledge of how to support children within this provision. The person must have strong behaviour management skills, an understanding of how to successfully use space, activities and provision to engage the learners who require significant support. This LSNP will need the skill set to support children’s emotion and energy regulation when they display behaviours which can challenge and harm. We would strongly encourage potential applicants to visit the school and see our Base provision during the working day.
We can offer you:
* Excellent professional development opportunities.
* A supportive community and a committed team of staff that are equally determined to give pupils the best possible opportunities.
* Opportunities to work with other staff in other schools to share best practice.
