We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Plater to join our manufacturing team in Stockton-on-Tees. £20.26 Per hour with overtime available at 1.5x and 2x on a Sunday. Monday - Thursday 0730-1630 & Friday 0730-1230. Position To undertake the fabrication of pressure vessels and heat exchangers of various diameters and thickness up to 80mm Carry out fabrication on pipework as per engineering drawings with tight tolerances To undertake work utilizing different materials including titanium, CuNi, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex and carbon steel Responsible for stripping and re-assembly of heat exchangers and pipework for maintenance Carry out general workshop day to days tasks as and when required Adhere to all workshop HSE and quality procedures To undertake work independently and as part of the team Requirements Time served with a Level 3 qualification in welding and fabrication Experience with vessels or structural is essential Experience working in a medium to heavy fabrication background Be able to interpret and read engineering drawings with a good understanding Demonstrate an excellent attitude towards company HSE and Quality Forklift truck and overhead crane qualification preferred but not essential Attributes Excellent communication skills and good attention to detail Willingness to learn from others and share best practice Confident to engage with all levels of the business Other information Values Ingenuity - Proactively explores new ways to enhance customer service and improve processes, ensuring solutions are practical, efficient, and support both team effectiveness and customer experience.
