Job Vacancy: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Year 4 Location: Nelson Salary: £13.75 - £14 per hour Hours: Full-time (8.30am – 3.45pm) Contract: Full-time Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality support to the class teacher and pupils in Year 4. - Deliver tailored interventions and small group activities to support learning. - Assist in the preparation of resources and the organisation of the classroom. - Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment. - Monitor and report on pupil progress to teachers and parents as required. We are looking for someone who: - Holds a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. - Has experience working in a Key Stage 2 setting (preferably Year 4). - Is confident in supporting learning in literacy and numeracy. - Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and excellent communication skills. - Is passionate about education and committed to continuous professional development.
