We are looking for a committed and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. This role provides flexible shifts and requires a degree of flexibility to adapt to service needs, ensuring continuity of care.
What You’ll Get To Do
* Partner with service users and their carers to plan and implement services based on assessed risk and needs.
* Provide personal care and support as required.
* Undertake key responsibilities to promote quality of life.
* Liaise with professionals involved in the care plan.
* Assist managers in maintaining correct administrative records, including financial, health & safety, and CQC requirements.
* Ensure appropriate health & safety measures and safe handling procedures.
* Attend mandatory training and develop NVQ competency.
The role requires a DBS check and an enhanced Disclosure.
What You’ll Bring
* NVQ Level 2 in Care, or equivalent, or a commitment to attaining it.
* Knowledge or willingness to learn about services for older adults.
* Ability to support care planning that puts the individual at the heart of decisions.
* Commitment to service user consultation and partnership.
* Aware of health & safety responsibilities and risk assessments.
* Experienced working collaboratively with colleagues and professionals.
* Strong communication skills with service users, carers, colleagues, and professionals.
