Welder
The Welder position for AG Brown Ltd plays a crucial role, they are responsible for performing welding operations in MAG and TIG welding. The welder must have a good eye for detail, be able to work to tight deadlines, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
Based in Glenrothes, Fife
· Reading and interpreting Fabrication drawings: The welderneeds to be able to understand and work from fabrication drawings and specifications to create metal components or structures.
· Material Preparation: This includes cutting and grinding
· Welding: Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MAG, TIG, and MMA.
· Site Work: You may be asked to work on-site as and when required.
· Assembling Components: The welder may be asked to assist in assembling and fitting together fabricated metal parts to create finished products or structures.
· Quality Control: Ensuring that the finished product meets quality standards and specifications is a crucial aspect of the job.
· Product-solving: The ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to challenges that may arise during the welding process.
· Attention to detail: Precision is crucial in the welding process to ensure the final product meets specifications.
· Communications Skills: Effective communication with the foreman, chargehand, and customers if required.
· Health & Safety: Adhering to the health and safety guidelines and procedures is of the up most importance in this role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.50-£17.50 per hour
