We're partnering with a well-established international manufacturing business seeking a proactive and commercially minded Buyer to join its growing supply chain team.
This is a high-impact role where you'll take ownership of material availability, supplier coordination, inventory control, and purchasing operations - helping to keep production moving without interruption while driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the business.
Responsibilities
* Manage material planning, purchasing, and inventory control
* Execute MRP activities and maintain accurate SAP data
* Raise and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time supply
* Monitor stock levels, investigate variances, and support stock accuracy
* Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Finance, and suppliers
* Support continuous improvement and cost‑saving initiatives
Qualifications
* Experience in planning, purchasing, or supply chain gained within manufacturing
* Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities
* Supplier management and inventory control experience
* Proactive, detail-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment
