The Opportunity:
We're looking for a skilled Azure Architect to join their dedicated team. Your mission will be to ensure our Azure Hosting environments are designed with care and precision, focusing on robust infrastructure and comprehensive security. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to key projects, ensuring solutions are harmonious and meet the highest standards for our clients.
What You'll Contribute To:
* Collaborating closely and harmoniously with development teams to ensure application and infrastructure designs work together seamlessly.
* Nurturing project documentation for our clients, ensuring clarity and understanding through open and supportive communication.
* Diligently working towards agreed project milestones and deliverables.
* Upholding important ISO Standards (9001 & 27001) to ensure quality and security.
* Ensuring the solutions you design meet contractual requirements, particularly around availability, security, and performance, for everyone's peace of mind.
* Supporting our Operations team by enabling them to manage the environment effectively, ensuring a smooth and cooperative handover.
We're Looking For Someone With:
* Demonstrable experience in thoughtfully designing and delivering hosted solutions in Microsoft Azure.
* Current Microsoft Certifications: AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate, AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer Associate.
* A genuine, wide-ranging interest and understanding of Information Technology, from applications and systems to networks and databases.
* Essential previous experience with Containerisation and Orchestration, specifically with Kubernetes (Azure Red Hat OpenShift) and MQTT.
* It would be wonderful if you have previous experience with API Management, Application Gateway, and Azure Monitor.
* Beneficial previous experience with Cloudflare.
* Strong, careful knowledge of scripting (Terraform, Helm-Charts, YAML) and the tools used for this (Visual Studio Code, Git).
* A great candidate will have good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with Azure CI/CD integration, and the use of observability tools like Prometheus or Loki.
* Excellent skills in creating clear, detailed High Level & Low Level documentation with technical diagrams.
* A strong understanding of Microsoft Azure Best Practices – Well-Architected Framework, Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), and Zero Trust principles.
* An excellent, empathetic communicator with a professional and approachable manner at all times.
