Your Key Responsibilities
As a Sous Chef, you will:
* Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients
* Oversee and implement menu changes to keep offerings fresh
* Identify opportunities to improve our food services
* Act on customer feedback to consistently enhance our offerings
* Support the creation of new menus and innovative food concepts
* Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image
* Monitor inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
* Ensure kitchen cleanliness to uphold hygiene standards
* Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations
What We're Looking For
Our ideal Sous Chef will:
* Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional service
* Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
* Have experience supervising a team
* Possess experience in a similar Chef role
* Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
* Have a flexible approach to working
