People are at the heart of their success, and they are now seeking a proactive and organised HR Generalist to join the HR team.
The Role
This HR Generalist role is a varied and hands‑on position supporting the day‑to‑day HR operations across the business. Working as part of a supportive HR team, you will provide generalist HR support to managers and employees, helping to ensure a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing first‑line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across a range of HR matters
* Supporting employee relations cases including absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations
* Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and induction activities
* Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
* Supporting payroll and benefits administration processes
* Assisting with the implementation and review of HR policies and procedures
* Supporting learning and development initiatives across the business
* Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement activities
* Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with current UK employment legislation
About You
* Previous experience within a generalist HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Experience supporting employee relations matters
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualified (or working towards) would be advantageous
