We’re on the hunt for a Multi Skilled Operative to sign up to our high performing Repairs Team based in Daventry. You’ll be part of a growing repairs team, visiting customers’ homes carrying out a range of repairs including bricklaying, concreting, plaster patching, carpentry maintenance and fire door works, showcasing your eye for detail and excellent standards. At interview you’ll need to show us your full driving licence and in order to be considered you’ll ideally need to have a minimum NVQ Level 2 /C&G in Carpentry. You’ll have use of one of our company vans, visiting our customers’ homes, fixing various issues and taking pride in a job well done, knowing that you’ve made a real difference to our customers. A few key points from our role profile: To carry out a range of Bricklaying, Concreting, Plaster patching, UPVC and Carpentry Maintenance works. Minimise disruption to customers and ensure compliance with safe methods of working in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act, Building Regulations & FHG’s Health, Safety and Environment Policy. Attend pre-arranged responsive repair appointments to carry out work or contact customer directly to make access arrangements. Work flexibly to enable repairs to be carried out at times arranged with the customer. To be aware of and comply with, the relevant risk assessments, hazards and the control measures to be used. To use and maintain in a correct manner, protective equipment/material provided for health and safety. Sounds like me, so what are you offering? Your weekly hours of work would be 37, Mon - Thurs 8:00am till 4:00pm, Fri 8:00am till 3:30pm with 30 minutes break for lunch break, paid monthly.
