Join Catch22 as a Project Worker supporting service users in remand transitioning from custody to the community across London, with regular work at HMP Wandsworth and HMP Pentonville. This role involves providing practical and emotional support to individuals during a critical time, helping them navigate remand status and reduce violent behaviour.

You will:

1. Build and establish relationships with prisoners, providing mentoring tailored to their needs.
2. Conduct pre- and post-release support to facilitate effective community transition.
3. Develop and implement action plans, assisting with housing, appointments, and employment.
4. Deliver group sessions on life skills, coping strategies, and motivation.
5. Collaborate with prisons, probation, and community organisations to create a support framework.

This varied role requires adaptability to custodial and community environments, with a commitment to building safer communities.

Qualifications

Essential:

* Experience in community support or mentoring, especially with high-risk individuals.
* Knowledge of the criminal justice system, safeguarding, and support services.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and advocacy skills.

Desirable:

* Qualifications in youth justice, criminology, or related fields.
* Experience delivering one-to-one and group interventions.

Contract: Permanent

Hours & Work Pattern: Full-time, 38 hours/week

Salary: £31,200

Location: HMP Pentonville
